On November 1, Doosan Infracore announced that it had opened a new construction equipment parts distribution center (PDC) in Miami, Florida, USA and begun its full-fledged operation.

With the opening of the Miami PDC, Doosan Infracore can now reduce its parts supply time to twenty-one Latin American countries significantly. Specifically, its standard delivery time throughout the region will be reduced from 30 days to just 14 days on average, while the average delivery time for its express delivery service will be cut from 2.7 to 1.1 days. As a result, logistical costs are expected to fall by more than 34%.

By responding to the increasing demand for parts in the Latin American market far more quickly (now with the Miami PDC up and running), Doosan Infracore aims to enhance its service competitiveness in the market, where there has been a steady recovery in recent months. In the first half of 2017, Doosan Infracore's construction equipment sales in emerging markets, including Latin America, rose by 29% from the same period last year , attesting to the relatively fast recovery in that part of the world.

Along with its main PDC in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, Korea and the newly opened Miami PDC, Doosan Infracore now operates PDCs in ten strategic locations around the world including China, Germany, Singapore, and Dubai.

"We've launched the Miami PDC as part of our robust global parts distribution network. As a result, we are now able to offer an even faster and more efficient service to our customers worldwide," declared an official of Doosan Infracore. "All our existing PDCs will join forces to make continuous improvements in their operational efficiency and parts supply rates to achieve the ultimate in customer satisfaction."
