The AP/E Doosan Dealer Academy recently got off to a good start in Indonesia and Vietnam.
The Dealer Academy was designed to provide field sales representatives with the essential sales skills and information about Doosan products and Doosan as a company. Instructors for sales skills were invited from a renowned sales and marketing training institute based in the UK. In addition, sales and marketing managers of Doosan lectured on products and the company’s corporate background.
After the class in Vietnam, Vu Tuan Tu, General Sales Manager of the Ho Chi Minh branch in Vietnam, commented, “I found the courses very informative. Even if I have a lot of experience and knowledge in the field, the trading reminded me of essential sales tactics. I now feel I have the confidence to go out, get business and close a deal. In addition, the training gave me a sense of pride in Doosan. I think this course would be very beneficial for newcomers to let them know about Doosan foster loyalty for Doosan.”
While wrapping up the program, training manager MJ Lee said, “As a member of Doosan, all of you are responsible for conveying Doosan’s philosophy and core values to our customers. Also, you need to know features and values of Doosan products exactly.”
